CTI640-D2/L/ML
Strixmarine multisensor, two-axis active gyrostabilized cameras utilize unique technology to perfectly stabilize a high-resolution image even on small vessels and rough sea conditions. CTI640-D2/L/ML combines a thermal imager sensor with a high-sensitive visible light module featuring 36x zoom and integrated infrared LED illuminators. IR beam wavelength is compatible with common night vision goggles to add extra features when needed.
The camera systems are designed for demanding marine applications like SAR (Search and Rescue) boats, law enforcement vessels, high-speed patrol craft, workboats, fishing boats, cruise ships, commercial vessels, and other vessels.

The camera is gyro-stabilized in two axis to counteract the motion of the boat or ship and provide a live video feed that’s stable to 0,01° of its central axis at accelerations of up to 9g. The algorithms adapt to the situation and any possible vibrations. The system works instantly upon being powered up and needs no calibration or particular setup.

FEATURES
NAVIGATION MODE
Camera heading is related to the boat heading, is oriented to the bow, and turns with the boat. NB! This mode is integrated with the Instant Look feature. While the camera keeps its orientation to the vessel bow, you can quickly and efficiently look to the right or left just by moving the joystick in this direction. When the joystick is released, the camera returns to the center position.

PAN / TILT
A proportional joystick controls the camera pan and tilt. Pan coverage is 360° continuous, and tilt angle coverage is from -30°degrees to +30°degrees. To maximize operational comfort, users can choose a portable wireless handheld control unit or a stationary installation.
PERFECT STABILIZATION
The camera is gyro-stabilized using new technology, making stabilization immediate and perfect even on small vessels and extremely harsh conditions. The system uses gyroscopes + inertial sensors + magnetometer + multicore processor + AHRS to ensure that even the slightest movements are compensated.
The camera keeps its predefined (by the operator) orientation and heading, no matter how the boat turns and moves. This can be useful in MOB and SAR situations to ensure that you will never lose once found object.
With the press of a button, the camera turns its direction automatically to the front. The camera knows the heading of the boat, so it can always automatically adjust its direction to ensure that the boat pilot can see the front, not losing time to find the right heading.
To maximize camera view coverage, panning is 360° continuous in all directions. Panning speed is proportional to the joystick position.
WIRELESS INSTALLATION
In addition to the standard installation, this camera can be installed and controlled without wiring. Control and receiving the video feed can be both wireless. The in-built antennas can provide a control and video feed range of up to 3 km, which can be increased with the addition of external antennas.

CONTROLLERS DESIGNED FOR CONVENIENT USE
Strixmarine cameras can be operated by the stationary, dashboard-installed controller or by a wireless, portable handheld unit.
By default, a rugged dashboard controller is included with all our products. It is designed to maximize the user’s comfort and is fully weatherproof to use also in the worst weather conditions. Large buttons are convenient to use even with gloves and harsh sea conditions.

In addition, we also offer a wireless, portable remote controller, which is useful in harsh sea conditions when the conventional, fixed controller is not easy to operate, or there is a need to operate it from various locations.
